Bernd Richter advises and represents corporations, their shareholders and statutory organs primarily in disputes related to corporate, antitrust and tax law issues.

In the area of corporate law, shareholder disputes in all their facets lie at the heart of his practice. If the dispute can not be avoided, Bernd Richter takes over the out-of-court legal counselling and representation as well as proceedings including the supervision of release procedures and valuation proceedings. Moreover he advises on drafting articles of association and employment contracts, where he benefits from his forensic experience.

In antitrust law Bernd Richter represents national and international corporations, in particular within the scope of merger control and competition law offence proceedings as well as leniency programs. Furthermore he supports corporations in the establishment of compliance systems and conducts employee trainings. 

As a certified specialist for tax law, Bernd Richter accompanies his clients in close collaboration with their respective tax advisors in tax litigations ranging from appeals to fiscal proceedings to revision procedures at the Federal Finance Court.
Bernd Richter is author of the monograph "Compensation for retiring shareholders restricted to the book value". In addition he is the longstanding chairman of the supervisory board of a German credit union and advises a wide range of banks in the context of their internal and external disputes.
