In the dispute over the construction of a mass logistics center in Ellerau by the US company Hillwood, the town of Quickborn has been successful with its appeal to the Schleswig Higher Administrative Court.

In a ruling dated June 27, 2024, the Higher Administrative Court upheld the appeal lodged by the town of Quickborn against the first-instance decision of the Schleswig Administrative Court. The administrative court had initially ruled in favor of the Hillwood settlement.
